possession of a violent individual. Lawyers for Zwerner said on NBC's "TODAY" show that school leadership knew of at least three separate warnings that the boy was believed to have a gun and was told by another student they saw
it. The lawsuit mentions new details about the boy and an alleged pattern of troubling behavior, which school officials ignored. The suit was filed in the Circuit Court for the city of Newport News, and Zwerner is seeking a jury trial.
