Money and Politics: Sanjay Raut's Claim on the Dubious Ties between Adani and PM Modi

Shiv Sena MP Alleges PM Modi's Involvement in Adani's WealthShiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has supported Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's statement that all the money of industrialist Gautam Adani belongs to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Raut stated that Adani is merely a face, and all the money with him belongs to Modi, which needs to be investigated. He further added that Adani is being protected because of the money he possesses, and it needs to be probed.

Raut has accused Modi of

being silent on the Adani issue despite speaking on all topics. He alleged that Adani's empire came into existence during Modi's chief ministership. Raut questioned Modi's relationship with Adani and demanded that the ED and the CBI should investigate Adani's account with Rs 20,000 crore. He asked why the PM does not talk about the issues raised by Rahul Gandhi and the JPC demanded by the Opposition.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) MP further demanded an audit of the PMCARES fund and asked whether it

would be conducted. He criticized the decision to award a doctorate to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and questioned which university had given a doctorate to those against whom corruption charges were filed.

Raut has also called upon Rahul Gandhi to raise more questions regarding Adani's wealth and demand answers. He accused Adani of looting the country and questioned why the ED and the CBI are only for the Opposition, not for Adani. He insisted that Modi should talk about the Adani issue and

stop avoiding it.

The Opposition has been struggling to get answers regarding Adani's wealth, and Raut's support for Kejriwal's statement has added fuel to the fire. The allegations against Adani and Modi have created a stir in the political arena, and the demand for an investigation is getting louder. The BJP has dismissed the allegations as baseless and said that they have nothing to do with Adani's wealth.
